BLACKBERRY 'N' APPLE SMOOTHIE

Foraged for blackberries at the weekend, and got a great big basket full. My friend Tania gave me apples from her garden yesterday. Let's hear it for FREE food!
Ingredients
  • Handful of frozen or fresh blackberries
  • Handful of Kale leaves
  • 1 large apple, or two small
  • 1 piece root ginger
  • 2 sticks of celery
  • A squeeze of lemon juice
  • 1 scoop Vanilla Protein powder, I use Sun Warrior
  • A large splash of almond milk
  • A large splash of coconut water
Instructions
  1. Add all the ingredients to a food processor, I use the Vitamix
  2. Whizz up on high power until smooth and liquid
  3. Add more coconut water or almond milk if it's too thick
  4. Pour into a tall glass, sit down and sip through a straw
  5. Relax and enjoy!
